I had posted earlier about the **40,000 Avios joining offer** on the Qatar–IndusInd credit card.  
Posting an update now that I’ve **actually received the card on 9th**.

**Important update on the offer:**  
The 40k Avios promotion was initially announced for **1st Jan – 31st Jan**, but **IndusInd Bank pulled it on 6th Jan** due to extremely high application volume. A classic example of how banks quietly discontinue attractive deals when demand spikes.

I was fortunate to apply on **2nd Jan**, so my application went through before the offer was revoked.

**My timeline:**  
• Applied: **2nd Jan**  
• Card received: **9th**  
• Process was smooth overall and they fetched my existing Qatar membership id(had not entered while filling form) and its printed on the card.

Also… the **packaging is genuinely beautiful**. Probably one of the most premium credit card boxes I’ve seen in India — didn’t expect this level of presentation from a co-branded airline card.

Next, I’ll be testing:  
• Avios crediting timeline.   
• Redemption on Qatar / BA / Avios partners  
• Real-world value for award flights from India

This whole episode also reinforces one thing: **when banks launch unusually good offers, it often pays to act early** — because they don’t always last.

If anyone here has already redeemed Avios from this card (especially for Qatar or British Airways), would love to hear how it went.
